About Peggy Kiefert Krouse
In the meantime, Peggy married a wonderful man, Matt, only to
lose him three years later to cancer when he was only 34 years
old.  This was a very difficult and tragic time in Peggy’s life, but she
got through it with the love and support of her family and friends,
and of course, her faithful friend
Rocky.  And she learned a big life
lesson.  Life is too short to not be truly happy.  She had been given
the gift of art and was wasting it.  That was unacceptable.  Matt
had always wanted her to pursue her art too, so she took the leap
of faith, left the Graphic Design and Marketing world and focused
on pursuing her dream.  To be an artist.

Peggy always had the knack for “slice of life” illustrations— the
ability to capture the emotions and personalities of her subjects.
And her attention to detail was almost photo-realistic.  Why not
share that gift with others?  And so Peggy began creating
heirloom portraits that forever capture a moment in time.  Each of
her hand-drawn portraits is more than an original work of art, it is
a special memory that can live on.

Peggy and Rocky have found happiness in their life again, and
renewed optimism for the future.  They have learned to appreciate
all the special moments that life gives us.  A few years ago, Peggy
was blessed to meet and marry a loving and supportive man,
Jon.  They have a young daughter and a son on the way.  They are
a loving family once again.

Peggy would love to have the opportunity to share her gift of art
with you and your family.  Please visit the
process page to find out
how you can commission a special portrait of your very own.
